Frequently asked questions
A quick overview of the service features.
What is LinkTipHub?
LinkTipHub is a bookmark library: save links, group them into thematic collections, and keep notes in one place.
How do I add a link?
On the “My links” page, click “Add link” and fill in the form. You can also paste text containing links via “Add from text” — each found link becomes a separate entry.
What are collections?
A collection is a set of links on a topic. Collections can be public or private, can be liked and commented on, and you can invite collaborators who submit links for approval.
What can I do with notes?
Create and edit notes with text formatting, import them from an article link, collaborate with other users, and discuss them in comments.
Who can see my materials?
Visibility is set separately for each link, note and collection: public, hidden, or only for selected users.
How do I share materials?
Choose the “Selected users” visibility and specify the users. They will see the materials in the “Shared with me” section.
Can I protect my data?
Yes. Links and notes can be encrypted with a password — data is encrypted in the browser and the password is not sent to the server.
How do I find what I need?
Use search by title, filters by tags and categories, the public catalogs of links and notes, and the “Favorites” section.
What about tags and categories?
You can suggest your own tags and categories: global ones go through moderation, personal ones are available immediately. Links and collections can also be exported to a text file.
